Have you ever asked yourself why people see a different you, than the person you know you are? I found myself asking that for almost 30 years, but no longer can I say that. Through my own personal pain and crisis, I was able to open my mind and do the healing work that has truly set me free and allowed me to become my true self.
Have you ever asked yourself why you don’t really show people who you know you are? I lived my life hoping to not be seen, because if I was spotted there was a chance my secret could be revealed. Living a life of not wanting to be seen is out of fear and leads to self-destruction.
Have you ever wondered why you protect everyone close to you, but you do not protect yourself? I lived a life of protecting everyone around me and forgot to protect the most important person, myself. I learned this next quote in a very hard way.
“If your compassion does not include YOURSELF, it is INCOMPLETE.” – Jack Kornfield
It was not until I was introduced to Soul Coaching did I have the awakening to know my life could be such a wonderful thing.
I have lived through being uprooted and moved out of state where I had no family or friends. My parents got divorced when I was 6 years old, and I myself fell in that pattern and divorced my husband, but through being coached I am proud to say we are married for a second time. I have lived with only self-doubt and also through sexual abuse. I am finally, through soul coaching, able to do the work and shed myself of all of those titles I previously attached to me.
I am now able to be proud to say who I am. I am a wife to an amazing man, I am the mother of two children and four dogs. I received my graduate degree from Oakland University, in accounting, and worked in that field for nine years until I had my son. That is when I realized I never wanted to go back to that type of work for it did not serve me. Here I am 14 years later and starting to live my life’s journey, not just take a job.
“For True Independence You Have To Make A Job, Not Just Take a Job” – Joline Godfrey
I am able to recognize and accept what still pains me, and what is not working, in order to see the change that allows me to live as my true self. I would like to invite you to sit with me and allow me to hear more about your story. I would be honored to hold space for you without any judgment, and help you to see your world potentially through different lenses.
What Robin’s Clients Say
Robin has been instrumental in my journey. Her guidance, strength and experience have navigated me through many challenges in my life. She is non-judgmental and has so much understanding and compassion for people. The support and perspective that Robin has given me has helped me heal, grow and create purpose. Robin has shown me that all of life’s experiences good and bad are what shape us into who we are and who we choose to be.
Through working with Robin I am learning to not react so quickly and to take a pause to look at situations from a different perspective. I am learning to slow down and take deep breaths. I am learning to be more present and “in the moment”. She is helping me to shift my energy to a more positive way of thinking and living. Thank you Robin.
As one of Robin’s first clients, it is hard to believe she has not been a coach for her entire life. It is evident within one conversation with Robin that she has transformed her personal darkness into light that can be seen and felt – even over the phone. Along with this wisdom, Robin is incredibly personable and compassionate; rather than an instructor on one’s journey, Robin presents herself as a helping hand traveling with you along the way. The way in which Robin has coached me has taught me so much about how to treat myself. I have gained a newfound sense of patience, love, and faith in myself that I know I will carry with me going forward. I strongly urge anyone struggling to find this sense of kindness toward themselves to reach out to Robin – As she will remind you, she is always there!
